LIBRARY SERVICES

While operating in compliance with the school's and library's internal rules, regulations, and guidelines, the library also collaborates with faculty and students to build the digital book collection, deliver online services to readers, and introduce innovative reader-focused services.

Collection development: Collection development follows the "Library Operations Regulation," with the library studying its book collection's professional and textbook holdings, and incorporating titles requested by faculty into the collection plan based on their recommendations.

Digital collection enrichment: To expand the digital collection, the library acquires copyright permission for student research works (bachelor's, master's, doctoral), academic publications, and professional books, textbooks, and manuals as needed, converts them to PDF for online reading, and adds them to the electronic catalog. Professional books and textbooks make up 89.5% of the library's collection, with 10.5% being other materials (language and educational books). The library also subscribes to 4 foreign journals and 2 periodicals.

The library has 3 service units and 2 reading rooms, including:

• Lending collection (home loan)
• Open-access reading room
• Research reading room

• 09:00 – 18:00

The library uses the "Koha" system to serve faculty, students, and staff. MUST users can log in to the unified catalog at catalog.must.edu.mn with their credentials to access web versions of books, textbooks, manuals, master's and doctoral theses, and academic articles on any device (mobile, computer), and to renew books. Users can also access the following information databases for international journals and academic publications: AGORA, OARE, EBSCO, ARDI, Springer Nature, and Online Liverpool University Press — 6 databases in total.
