The Information Network Professor team was established by Order No. 196 of 20th of September, 2002, by the Rector of the University of Science and Technology and according to MNS5323-69: 2009, by the "Information Network" undergraduate curriculum of Mongolian Higher Education standards and up to now, we have been accepting and studying bachelor students for 17 years. The System Security Professor's team started studying in the first year of 2008 in the field of System Security at the Department of Computer Science of the Computer Science Management School of MUST. Furthermore, the information network and the System security curriculum were locally accredited in 2019. 

Currently, about 401 students are studying in "Network Technology" and "System Security", and have graduated 812 undergraduate students. Starting from 2015, we have enrolled in the "System security 2+2" joint program with the Schuunhyang University of Korea, with 33 students studying at this university. Students are currently studying in 2018 at an advanced level at the National Central University of Taiwan.

Every semester, Undergraduate students take part in domestic networking and security competitions for all Mongolian university's undergraduate students. Our graduates have been successful in the development og the international, government and private sector.

Our professors and faculty have been teaching CCNA and CCNP training based on the CISCO Academy of Information and Communication Training Centre of SICT, MUST.

Academic Programs:

Cyber security: Up to now in this academic year, 650 bachelors, 40 masters, 4 doctoral students with a cyber security curriculum have graduated, and currently 199 bachelors, 10 masters, 10 doctoral students are in our department

System security: Up to now's academic year 162 bachelor's, 10 master's students with a system security curriculum have graduated, currently have been studying 202 bachelor's, 9 master's students are studying at our department.
