SICT Research Teams and Labs Open Day was held

To mark the 65th anniversary of MUST, an open house for SICT's research teams and laboratories was held from 25 September to 1 October 2024. Within the framework of the KOICA-funded "Capacity Building of SICT at MUST" project, 10 training and research laboratories have been established at the school, and research teams have been organized around them.
The purpose of this event is to introduce research teams and laboratories to newly enrolled master's and PhD students as well as bachelor's students graduating in winter and spring, help them choose their research topics and supervisors, and energize research team activities. It also aims to introduce research teams and labs to first-year bachelor's students and the wider student body, helping them discover their fields of interest.

During the event, an orientation about the school was given to newly enrolled students, and research teams prepared and displayed posters introducing their team goals, research directions, achievements and activities. Interested students could follow the schedules set by the research teams and laboratories to learn more in detail. We believe that when senior bachelor's students choose their research direction and topics early, the quality of their graduation work will improve, and that graduate students conducting their research within laboratory research teams will produce more meaningful results.
