Ceremony for Signing Cooperation Memorandum with "Olloo" JSC
On December 24, 2025, L.Bayar-Erdene, Director of SICT, and G.Ulambayar, CEO of "Olloo" JSC, officially signed a cooperation memorandum. The purpose of this memorandum is to develop training, research, and innovation in the fields of information, communication, artificial intelligence, and robotic technology, and to enhance students' practical skills.
Under the memorandum, "Olloo" JSC and SICT agreed to cooperate in the following areas.
- To jointly equip a training classroom with an AI-based smart monitoring system for use in experiments and research aimed at developing students' practical skills
- To develop and introduce into use a "Teacher Robot" intended for educational purposes to test artificial intelligence and language training systems
- To conduct research on the application of artificial intelligence and robotic technology in the livestock sector, develop testing and innovation solutions suited to Mongolian conditions, and develop and introduce into use a "Herder Robot"
- To organize cooperation with universities in Shanghai and Wuhan, China, support the professional development activities of researchers, faculty, and graduating students, and contribute to providing tuition discounts, scholarships, and implementing joint programs. This cooperation between the parties is significant in providing students and researchers with knowledge and practice based on modern advanced technology, and in supporting innovations and startup projects aimed at practical use.
We are confident that this cooperation will not only align with the mutual interests of the parties but also have a tangible impact on the development of science and technology in Mongolia and on enhancing international competitiveness.
