14th National Computer Network Olympiad and Research Conference Successfully Held

As part of the 60th anniversary of the School of Information & Communications Technology at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, the "14th National Computer Network Olympiad" and "Research Conference" were successfully held on May 2 and 9, 2026.
The Department of Cybersecurity at MUST-SICT served as the main organizer of the event, with Unitel Group as the title sponsor and SSystems LLC, mnNOG, and Data Center as supporting sponsors and partners. The Olympiad tested participants in both student and engineer categories on theoretical knowledge of computer networks, practical skills, and problem-solving ability, and served as an important platform for exchanging experiences among faculty, researchers, engineers, and students in the field.
In this Olympiad, 156 participants (138 students and 18 engineers) competed in Stage I, and the top 30 (20 students and 10 engineers) advanced to Stage II. In the student Olympiad category and research conference, representatives from 9 universities and academic institutions including MUST, NUM, NDU, MNDU, NMIT, IOTUI, Empasoft Institute of Technology, Mandakh University, and Khuree IT University competed in skills and knowledge.
The Olympiad, aimed at evaluating participants' core knowledge of computer networks, problem-solving ability, and practical understanding, resulted in the following placements, validating the professional preparation and practical experience of computer network engineering students.
