The 2026 'Khavryn Terguun' Amateur Radio Transmitter Hunting Competition
The traditional Amateur Radio Transmitter Hunting competition "Khavryn Terguun" was successfully organized in the territory of Khan-Uul District on May 24, 2026. A panel of judges appointed by the Mongolian Amateur Radio Society (MARS) judged the competition, which was held in the traditional 144 MHz frequency category across two divisions: men's and women's.
A total of 34 athletes from the School of Information and Communication Technology (SICT) of MUST, Military Unit 0151 of the Armed Forces, the National Defense University (NDU), and the Confucius General Education School participated in the competition, competing in their skills and physical fitness.
The MUST-SICT team was led by supervising teacher B.Javkhlantugs and team captain E.Altangerel, and the team members included students A.Saruulbuyan, B.Javkhlanbold, O.Odgerel, B.Urangua, Ts.Delgermurun, J.Nanjid, P.Oyun-Erdene, G.Azjargal, Z.Zandanshatar, and B.Ariunbold.

In the women's category:

Second place: B.Urangua /MUST-SICT/
Third place: D.Munkhdelger /Border Guard Unit 0151/
In the men's category:
First place: B.Uuriintsolmon /NDU/
Second place: E.Altangerel /MUST-SICT/
Third place: Ts.Delgermurun /MUST-SICT/
The competition's judging panel consisted of national judges E.Tamir, J.Alimantsetseg, A.Ariunaa, Ts.Sodjavkhlan, A.Khaliun, and B.Alexander, along with judges P.Tsetsegmaa, M.Urtnasan, and Erdenechimeg.
